ALUMINIUM SHEETS.

Al sheets.

Strips made by cold rolling of aluminium or aluminium alloys can be suplied with an untreated or a varnished surface. The mechanical properties of the material are ensured by combining forming and thermal processing.

Applications

Building industry
roof coverings and accessories, chimney liners, panelling and load-bearing structures of walls, windows, window inserts to prevent condensation, awnings, gates, thermal insulation covering, stationary air-conditioning units, road crash barriers.

Electrical engineering
electrical appliances (vacuum cleaners, TV sets, refrigerators, etc.)

Mechanical engineering
machine components; structural elements and car accessories (parts of body frame, heat exchangers, number plates, lifting jacks); containers and carriages.

Other applications
shovels, dozers, gardening accessories, kitchen utensils.

Shaped sheets.

Shaped sheets are of a trapezoidal, sinusoidal, or triangular section with a thickness in the range of 0.4 - 40 mm, wave spacing in the range of 6 - 225 mm and building width in the range of 600 - 1,045 mm. The sheets are made by the shaping of cold rolled strips (sheets) which have untreated or varnished surface. Supplies according to PN 42 7307.

Applications

Roof coverings and panelling of industrial buidings, family houses, stands, caravans and containers; lower ceilings, panelling of balconies and attics; tube insulation. Thanks to their stiffness the shaped sheets require minimum support which is reflected in simplified and lightened constructions. The use of shaped sheets affects favourably the economy of the building and contributes to the reduction of operating costs.

Aluminium sheets for food industry.

Apart from excellent formability and shape stability thin sheets made of aluminium and aluminium alloys also comply with hygienic requirements and can undergo a number of surface treatments, e.g. varnishing.

Applications

Varnished sheets can be used for the production of screw caps, Omnia lids, etc.
